How many rounds can a cartridge hold?

Different firearms have different sizes and lengths, and the same cartridge must contain different bullets. For example, the United States is mainly used for 5.56 mm bullets, and the U.S. military ammunition box is small after all, mainly for the convenience of carrying. A cartridge contains 420 rounds. Most of the bullets used in Russia are 5.45 mm bullets. After all, their ammunition boxes are thicker, they look big and can hold 500 rounds of ammunition. What about China? In the past, there were more rifles of type 56 and 81 in our army. Most of the bullets were 7.62. With the former wooden ammunition boxes, iron bullets could be loaded up to 1500 rounds and steel bullets could be loaded 920 rounds.

Now with the progress of science and technology, the bullet has been replaced by 5.8mm, so that the ammunition box is replaced by the updated polymer plastic ammunition box. It’s much lighter than the old ammunition box, and it’s not afraid of the tide. And the bullet capacity has reached 1500 rounds.
